This is an extremely unique election, as technology is believed to have played a major role in deciding the outcome of the election. The television, which had taken the country by storm, brought a new way of looking at political candidates. Who, though, benefited?
The Future of Television?
Is traditional television viewership going extinct? As stated by House of Cards star Kevin Spacey, "“Clearly, the success of the Netflix model, releasing the entire season of ‘House Of Cards’ at once, proved one thing: the audience wants the control. They want the freedom. If they want to binge, as they’ve been doing on ‘House of Cards’ and lots of other shows, then we should let them binge.”
